Construction continues on new Premier Dental Center in Thomsen Farms

Construction continues on Premier Dental Center in Thomsen Farms with a completion date scheduled for the third quarter of 2022.

Located on Exeter Road, the 5,700-square-foot facility, which is being built by Hoyt Hayes Construction, will offer about 40 parking spaces.

Premier Dental Center – which offers cosmetic, restorative, neuromuscular, and general dental care and use state-of-the-art technology to optimize its success – began providing dental care in 1979 in Bells.

Premier Dental Center is located at 7019 U.S. Highway 412 South in Bells, 14029 South First Street in Milan and 2574 Christmasville Cove Suite G in Jackson.

Community Bank has grand opening, ribbon cutting in Henderson

Henderson, Tennessee — Community Bank, based in Lexington, Tennessee, celebrated the grand opening of its new Henderson, Tennessee, location with a ribbon-cutting Jan. 13.

According to a press release from Tajuana Cheshier – The Bramblett Group – members of the Community Bank board of directors, Community Bank Lexington branch, customers and friends attended the event. The new Henderson location is the result of the acquisition of West Tennessee Bank last fall.

Community Bank CEO Phillip Renfroe greeted guests and introduced Emily Johnson, City President; Henderson/Chester County, Ashley Barnes, Christy Yarbrough, and Melissa Warren, who are serving customers through the Henderson branch. Johnson previously worked as the executive director of Henderson/Chester County Chamber of Commerce.

Renfroe praised the Henderson branch team for their work during the acquisition and Johnson’s energy as the team leader. “Our mission is to bring top-quality banking and financial services to Henderson and Chester County,” Renfroe said.

Commercial Bank & Trust expands real estate holdings on Oil Well Road

While construction continues on a new Commercial Bank and Trust Company on approximately 2.4 acres at the northeast corner of Oil Well Road and Pleasant Plains, CB&T has expanded its real estate holdings next door.

Commercial Bank & Trust purchased the property adjacent to where the new bank will be located, and the final phase of demolition continues at the site.

Monte Jones, president of Commercial Bank & Trust said the acquisition is part of the redevelopment process the bank started in late 2021 with an idea to prepare the lot for construction.

Commercial Bank currently has two locations in Jackson – 3093 North Highland Avenue, and 79 Stonebridge Boulevard – along with its mobile bank courier service.

The new location will offer full service banking to include mortgage loans and trust services.

Burkes Outlet Stores locating in West Towne Commons

Details are limited, and an opening date has not been announced, but Burkes Outlet Stores, Inc., a privately held retail company, is scheduled to occupy 175 Stonebrook Place in West Towne Commons.

Beall’s, Inc. is the parent company of Burkes Outlet Stores, Inc. The corporation operates over 500 retail stores.

Since what the company calls ‘its modest beginnings in 1915,’ Bealls has grown to be a major employer in the state of Florida as well as a valued asset to the communities it serves.

Customers will be able to locate brand name apparel and accessories for the entire family at up to 70% off other stores prices everyday.

In addition most stores carry shoes, home furnishings, gifts, and toys. The stores are designed to serve customers of all ages and income levels.

The location is the former home of Stein Mart, which closed its doors in October 2020.

The Jacksonville, Florida-based retailer announced in August 2020 it had filed for Chapter 11, and liquidation sales started.

With about 300 stores, Stein Mart was known for brand names in fashion for men and women, unique home décor and gifts.

Nationally known retailer will occupy entire strip center in West Towne Commons

Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, an American national off-price department store retailer, is scheduled to open a new retail store at 85 Stonebrook Place this fall.

“We are pleased to announce the arrival of Burlington, a new retail business in Jackson, Tennessee,” said Gary Taylor, president of Gary A. Taylor Investment Company, “Burlington will take the entire 24,975 square foot building located at 85 Stonebrook Place between Target and Kroger.

“The building will be entirely renovated – including a new roof, new HVAC systems, and new front facade.

“Burlington will add approximately 30 new jobs to our community. The store will open for business this fall.”

Burlington is a division of Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corporation with 740 stores in 40 states and Puerto Rico, with its corporate headquarters located in Burlington Township, New Jersey.
