Management declined comment, but Chick-fil-A inside the Old Hickory Mall, 2021 North Highland Avenue, closes permanently, at 4 p.m., Friday.
An opening date has not been announced, but construction on a new Chick-fil-A near the Old Hickory Mall at the southwest corner of North Highland Avenue and Tinker Hill Road continues.
The restaurant will consist of 4,759 square feet located on a 1.42 acre lot, with 52 parking spaces.
Chick-fil-A is also located at 3 Stonebridge Boulevard and inside Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
