This elegant event helps to fund the operations and educational outreach programs of the Symphony. These programs include Music and Healing at West Tennessee Healthcare and the Alice and Carl Kirkland Cancer Center, the Jackson Symphony Youth Orchestra, and more.
In addition, The Jackson Symphony orchestra also offers the Starlight Symphony, free to the community, on the grounds of First Presbyterian Church each year. The Jackson Symphony depends on support of the community to provide live orchestral music to West Tennessee.
This is the 60th season of The Jackson Symphony League which is a critical component in the success of The Jackson Symphony. Performances, educational programs, and community outreach require more than a full house at every performance.
The Jackson Symphony must raise more than 60% of its budget each year through contributions of tax-deductible individual gifts, corporate sponsorships, foundation grants, and public funding for the arts.
We would like to thank our Crystal Sponsors, the City of Jackson, Nordstar Medical, and Leaders Credit Union as well as our Gold Sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Harris, Mill Masters, Dr. and Mrs. Lee Murray, Regions Bank, TransSouth Health Care, VOYA, and Wilson Endodontics – Dr. and Mrs. Jim Wilson.
