JPD needs assistance identifying suspect from shooting on Lowe’s parking lot on South Highland Ave.

Investigators with the Jackson Police Department are investigating a shooting that happened around 1:30 p.m., at Lowe’s, 2071 South Highland Avenue.

The incident started as a verbal altercation between two individuals in the drive thru line at Long John Silver’s located at 1617 South Highland Ave. The victim left and then drove to Lowe’s where the suspect followed him and shot at him in the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a dark skin black male. The suspect’s vehicle is a silver Hyundai with dark tinted windows and damage to the front driver’s side headlight and bumper.
