
JACKSON Tenn, (August 18, 2015) – According to Jackson Police, a woman hired to clean the house decided instead to clean out the house.
Police say Angel Owens pawned over $12,000 in stolen jewelry at three local pawn shops. That and her access to the jewelry before it was stolen make he the suspect in the home burglary.
On August 11, a victim contacted police about missing jewelry and told investigators they suspected Angel Owens. Owens had been hired to help with house cleaning.
The victim learned jewelry matching the stolen items had been pawned at Cash Today, Affordable Jewelry, and Krasner Pawn, all local shops.
According to investigators, records indicate the items were pawned by Owens.
Owens was in court to face charges, her bond was set at $20,000
