JACKSON, Tenn. – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the arrest of David Jenkins, 33, for Vehicular Homicide, Vehicular Assault, and Reckless Endangerment. Jenkins was wanted by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
On April 7, 2021, David Jenkins was driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated when he collided with Kimberly McDaniel resulting in her death and injuring another person in Henry County, TN.
On Nov. 29, Jenkins was indicted by the Henry County Grand Jury on charges of Vehicular Homicide by Intoxication, Vehicular Homicide by Recklessness, Vehicular Assault, Reckless Aggravated Assault, and Reckless Endangerment with a Deadly Weapon. A warrant for Jenkins’ arrest was issued, and the fugitive case was adopted by the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force.
On the same day, the U.S. Marshals tracked Jenkins to an address in Memphis, TN, and took him into custody without incident. Jenkins was booked into the Shelby County Jail and awaits extradition back to Henry County.
