Matt Tedford, a West Tennessee Healtcare employee for over 14 years was named the organization’s employee of the month for October.

Matt – Clinical Manager, Emergency Department – received the award during the West Tennessee Healthcare’s Board of Trustees monthly meeting at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Tuesday.

Teresa Freeman, Chief Nursing Officer, Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, and James Fountain, executive director, emergency services made the presentation.

According to Amy Garner, West Tennessee Healthcare’s Chief Compliance & Communications Officer – Matt’s coworkers say he works extra hours and is always jumping in to help and train.

“He takes pride in his work and has an adaptable attitude in all situations that come to the ER.
He takes time to help others, even though it might not be ‘his job.’

“Thank you for everything you do day in and day out, Matt!”
