The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms seven additional COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 311 in Madison County. The newest deaths include:
- 74-year-old male (died 10/13/2021)
- 63-year-old male (died 10/14/2021)
- 52-year-old female (died 10/17/2021)
- 88-year-old female (died 10/17/2021)
- 73-year-old female (died 10/17/2021)
- 64-year-old male (died 10/18/2021)
- 70-year-old female (died 10/18/2021)
The health department has received positive test results for 67 more cases of COVID-19 since Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021. We now have 18,201 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 17,413 have recovered.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
