The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms three additional COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 304 in Madison County. The newest deaths include:
- 69-year-old female (died 10/9/2021)
- 72-year-old male (died 10/11/2021)
- 42-year-old female (died 10/9/2021)
The health department has received positive test results for 89 more cases of COVID-19 since Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021. We now have 18,073 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 17,224 have recovered.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
