Demahri Wallace, North Side High School senior quarterback is the 101.5 FM & WNWS.COM ‘Player of the Week.’
Presented by Mann’s Wrecker and AJD Metal Designs.com, Demahri accounted for all four touchdowns – 2 passing, 2 rushing – in North Side’s 28-12 win over Ripley, Friday.
Demahri, who also plays defensive back for the Indians, completed 9 of 16 passes for 109 yards while rushing for 70 yards on 16 carries.
“I want to thank my teammates and my O (offensive) line for winning this award,” Demahri said, “We came into the game with a good game plan … executed well.
“This week we have South Gibson, an away game, and it’s going to be a big game. We have to go out there and execute and give them their first loss of the year and keep our winning streak on a roll.”
