Ty Schrotberger, South Gibson County quarterback and defensive back, is this week’s 101.5 FM – WNWS.COM – Game MVP for Friday, Sept. 3.
Presented by Mann’s Wrecker and AJD Metal Designs.com, Ty rushed for 103 yards on 18 carries, completed five of the six passes he attempted for 73 yards and scored two touchdowns, one the game winner in South Gibson’s 44-41 win at Milan.
He also accounted for two tackles from his defensive back position.
“We played a pretty big game … not only a rivalry game, but a region game,” Ty said, “We threw the ball well, ran the ball well and everybody did their job.”
