JACKSON, Tennessee – The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms two additional COVID-19 deaths. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 255 in Madison County. The newest deaths include:
- 63-year-old male (died 8/28/21)
- 66-year-old female (died 8/26/21)
The health department has received positive test results for 478 more cases of COVID-19 since Aug. 27, 2021. We now have 15,208 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 12,678 have recovered.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
