Change in location for service of dedication of T. Clark Shaw Memorial Lane

The entrance that leads to Casey Jones Village becomes T. Clark Shaw Memorial Lane when a service of dedication is held at the Casey Jones Railroad Museum Theater on the campus at Casey Jones Village at 9 a.m., Friday.

Mr. T. Clark Shaw (1954-2020) served as a longterm Jackson businessman, restaurateur, as well as, a local, state, and regional leader.

T. Clark Shaw was a true humanitarian, entrepreneur, a visionary, and a cornerstone on the Jackson community. He did so much to help build Jackson tourism by the development and move to Casey Jones Village in 1978; he constructed Casey Jones Village Amphitheater; expanded the Casey Jones Home and Railroad Museum; relocated several iconic structures, such as the Judge Milton Brown rail-car to Jackson; 175-year-old Providence House from Trenton; restored the historic Country Store from Haywood County and the Pearl House from downtown Jackson.

T. Clark Shaw dearly loved the Lord and brought satellite Christian radio to Jackson residents through American Family Radio. He was a true humanitarian, and thousands of residents and local agencies where direct recipients of this loving kindness and generosity.
