The Winnipeg Goldeyes will return home to Manitoba, Canada, by way of Sioux City, South Dakoka, and Lincoln, Nebraska, following their final ‘home’ game at The Ballpark at Jackson.
The Goldeyes (30-31), who will play their first home game at Shaw Park in Winnipeg, August 3, fell 8-3 to the Kansas City Monarchs in Jackson, Sunday.
Winnipeg will have road games at Sioux City and Lincoln before playing its first game at Shaw Park since the 2019 season.
Forced to play its home games in Jackson due to border restrictions in Canada, the Goldeyes, members of the American Association, attracted 17,188 fans to The Ballpark at Jackson for an average of 572 per game.
The totals include 403 fans who attended Sunday’s game.
