Highlights from the May 2021 Labor Force Estimates:

The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for Tennessee remained the same at 5.0 percent from April 2021 to May 2021.
During the same time period, the Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States decreased from 6.1 percent to 5.8 percent.
The unemployment rate decreased in 40 counties, increased in 37 counties, and remained the same in 18 counties.
Moore County and Williamson County had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.7 percent.
Perry County had the highest unemployment rate at 7.1 percent.
