JACKSON, Tenn. – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the arrest of Ambreia Washington.
On June 10, 2021, Washington was wanted by the Jackson Police Department for Attempted First Degree Murder following a shooting at Royal Arms Apartments in Jackson, TN where a person was shot once in the abdomen.
On June 14, 2021, Jackson Police Department issued a warrant and Investigators with the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in Jackson, Tennessee worked together to locate the fugitive.
On June 23, 2021, Washington was tracked to an address at an apartment on Hollywood Drive. He was found hiding in the apartment. He was taken into custody without further incident.
“Our priority is to keep our communities safe,” said Marshal Tyreece Miller. “The Marshals Service will continue to meet the challenges of capturing the most dangerous fugitives.”
The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force within Western Tennessee. The Western Tennessee Division of the TRVFTF has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis Police Officers, Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies, Jackson Police Officers, and the Tennessee Department of Corrections Special Agents. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators.
