From the Jackson Police Department –
Officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 1341 North Parkway around 8:20 p.m., on Friday evening May 4, 2021.
When officers arrived they found 18-year-old, Tanyarris Maxwell, lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.
Mr. Maxwell was transported by EMS to Jackson Madison County General Hospital were he died as a result of his injuries.
