Woolfork found guilty of rape of a child, aggravated sexual battery

From District Attorney Frederick H. Agee –

Today, Johnny Woolfork was found guilty by jury trial in the Humboldt Law Court of one count of Rape of a Child and one count of Aggravated Sexual Battery.

Woolfork, 66, will be sentenced on Tuesday July 6 and is facing a maximum sentence of 40 years for the Rape of a Child conviction which requires 100 percent service.

The Aggravated Sexual Battery conviction carries a maximum sentence of 12 years that requires 85 percent service. Woolfork’s bond has been revoked by Circuit Court Judge Clayburn Peeples and he will await sentencing in the custody of the Gibson County Correctional Complex.

Woolfork is still facing an additional count of Rape of Child and Aggravated Sexual Battery of a separate child victim in the Humboldt Law Court.

The case was prosecuted by District Attorney Frederick H. Agee & Assistant District Attorney Scott G. Kirk.
