USJ’s Ryan Rolison made Triple-A debut with Albuquerque, Saturday

After striking out the first three Oklahoma City Dodgers he faced, Ryan Rolison’s evening ended in the second inning during his Triple-A debut with the Albuquerque Isotopes, Saturday.

The Isotopes are the Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

A left-handed pitcher, Rolison gave up four hits and five runs – all earned – walked two and struck out four in 1.2 innings in Albuquerque’s 7-6 win.

Rolison, a 2016 University School of Jackson graduate, was selected 22nd overall by Colorado in the first round of the 2018 draft.

He was promoted from Double-A Hartford, Monday, May 17.
