JACKSON, Tenn. (July 27, 2015) — On Monday a suspect arrested in connection with a Saturday night shooting was in Jackson City Court.

Gregory Sails is charged with evading arrest and drug possession.

According to court documents, witnesses observed Sails run from the area where shots were fired between two cars on Oil Well Road in north Jackson.

Jackson police are not releasing any details about other possible suspects or a motive but say the case is still under investigation.

Investigators are still looking for an older model, tan sedan they believe was involved in the shooting.

Gregory Sails remains in custody.
