From the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department –

According to Mallory Cooke – Public Information Officer, Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department – the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 23 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 11,332 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 10,958 have recovered.

Eleven of these new cases reflect a data backlog from one local provider.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 15 to 75.

Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Two Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. None of these patients are on ventilators.
