The Salvation Army began picking up 24 homeless individuals and three dogs at 11 a.m. at Rodeway Inn, 2239 Hollywood Drive and transported them to the emergency warming shelter at the Carl Perkins Civic Center, today.
They will be able to stay 24 hours a day at the warming center during this extreme weather event.
