The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms four additional COVID-19 deaths. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 176 in Madison County.
The newest deaths include:
- 87-year-old female (died 1/8/2021)
- 94-year-old female (died 1/6/2021)
- 57-year-old male (died 12/30/2020)
- 88-year-old male (died 2/8/2021)
The health department received positive test results for 7 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 10,686 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 9,953 have recovered.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 17 to 80.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Six Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Two of those patients are on ventilators.
