The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms three additional COVID-19 deaths. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 170 in Madison County.
The newest deaths include:
- 43-year-old female (died 2/1/2021)
- 80-year-old male (died 2/1/2021)
- 84-year-old female (died 12/18/2020)
The health department received positive test results for 20 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 10,587 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 9,752 have recovered.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 3 to 68.
Epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Eight Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.
