The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 96 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 5,800 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 4,593 have recovered.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 6 months to 78.
Epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Twenty-six Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Five of those patients are on a ventilator.
