Health Department confirms 3 additional COVID-19 related deaths in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department three additional COVID-19 related deaths. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 106 in Madison County.

The newest deaths include:

82-year-old female (died 11/27/2020)
31-year-old female (died 11/27/2020)
53-year-old male (died 11/28/2020)

The health department received positive test results for 32 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 5,683 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 4,444 have recovered.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 9 to 83.

Epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Eleven Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Two of those patients are on a ventilator.
