Olivia Jones, a senior at the University School of Jackson, will continue her education and basketball career at the University of North Alabama.
Olivia, an all-state guard, signed her National Letter of Intent during a ceremony at USJ.
Olivia, who selected UNA over the University of Tennessee Martin, Eastern Kentucky University and Christian Brothers University, averaged 14.5 points per game as a junior.
“I really like the coaching staff, players and campus on my visits to UNA,” Olivia said, “I feel UNA was the best fit for me, and I look forward to playing for Coach (Missy) Tiber and her up tempo offense.”
Olivia will join three other players with West Tennessee ties at UNA – Macey Lee (TCA), Alexis Callins (Westview) and Skyler Gill (Hardin County) on the Lions roster.
UNA plays in the Atlantic Sun Conference and is coming off a 21-9 season.
