The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms a 51-year-old male died Nov. 14 and a 52-year-old male died Nov. 16 due to complications from COVID-19. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 92 in Madison County.

The health department received positive test results for 102 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 4,978 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 4,036 have recovered.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 5 to 90.

Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Twenty Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Six of those patients are on a ventilator.
