JACKSON Tenn (June 29, 2015) – A pedestrian on a motorized wheelchair was involved in an incident with a vehicle.
Around 1:15 Monday afternoon police and EMS were called about an injured pedestrian at the corner of Highland Avenue and Main Street in downtown Jackson.
When they arrived the found a victim on the side of the road. Â Witnesses say they saw the wheelchair spin as if it had been struck and the man in the wheel chair came out and struck the road. Â The victim was helped immediately by several people on the scene until EMS arrived.
No names were released. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
