The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms five additional COVID-19 related deaths in Madison County. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 83 in Madison County. The newest deaths include:
- 73-year-old male (died 10/11/2020)
- 69-year-old female (died 10/27/2020)
- 55-year-old male (died 10/27/2020)
- 95-year-old female (died 10/29/2020)
- 82-year-old female (died 10/31/2020)
The health department received positive test results for 44 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 4,073 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 3,612 recovered.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 7 months to 78.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Fifteen Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Three of those patients are on a ventilator.
