Madison County Sheriff John Mehr said an investigation is on-going concerning a hit-and-run incident that occurred Saturday night on Watson Road.

At approximatly 7:20 p.m., a juvenile was struck by a vehicle while trick or treating with his friends.

The vehicle did not slow down or stop.

The injured young man was transported by EMS to the hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening.

The Sheriff is asking the public for assistance concerning the vehicle and the person involved while this incident is still under investigation.
