The Madison County Election Commission saw the largest turnout for one day so far during the early voting period as 2,279 voters cast ballots.
Total ballots cast has reached 22,692 ballots – a 36% turnout for this election.
Our record turnout for early voting was 27,392 which was set in the presidential election of 2008.
Early voting continues through Thursday, October 29. Early voting hours are from 9 a.m.. – 4 p.m.
On the last two days of early voting, October 28 and 29, the voting hours will be from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The early voting location is at 311 North Parkway in Jackson. You must present a photo ID issued by the State of Tennessee or the U.S. government.
