There was a heavy turnout for early voting on Monday with the most votes per day so far in this presidential election.
There were 2,180 ballots cast at the Madison County Agricultural Complex auditorium.
The total number of Early Votes has reached 10,555 – which comprises 16.7% of the 63,105 registered voters in Madison County.
Early voting continues through October 29. Early voting hours are from 9 a.m.. – 4 p.m. on weekdays, and 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday.
On the last two days of early voting, October 28 and 29, the voting hours will be from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The early voting location is at 311 North Parkway in Jackson. You must present a photo ID issued by the State of Tennessee or the U.S. government.
