Employee Assaulted In A Local Restaurant

JACKSON Tenn (June 23, 2015) – Three people appeared in city court on charges of assaulting an employee in a Jackson restaurant.

According to an affidavit, Cedarious Booth, Orlandas Landers and Tacarra Turner are alleged to have come from Humboldt to Long John Silver’s on Stonebrook Place to “take care of” a woman who worked at the restaurant.

Police say during a phone argument a woman told the employee  she was angry over comments made about her son and that was sending her “crew” to “take care of her,”.

According to police, about 30 minutes later the three suspects came to the restaurant during a busy lunch hour and cursed at the victim, trying to get her to come outside.

The woman wouldn’t leave the restaurant so the three then went around the counter and assaulted the victim, knocking her to the ground and hitting her several times, according to the affidavit.

Booth, Landers and Turner all are charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct. They are being held in the Madison County Jail in lieu a $2,500 bond.
