Former University of Alabama running back Kerry Goode, who was named the Southeastern Conference’s Freshman of the Year in 1983, is scheduled to visit with Joe Holloway, Jimmy Butler and Bill Hamilton, when ‘Saturday Sports Roundup’ airs on NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM & WNWS.COM, from 10 a.m. to noon, today.
Goode was also selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the seventh round of the 1988 NFL Draft.
He also coached for the NFL New York Giants 1993-96, and St. Louis Rams 1997-99.
He is brother to Chris Goode, Pierre Goode, Clyde Goode III and cousin to Antonio Langham. Like Kerry, each of the four mentioned played their college football at Alabama.
Joe, Jimmy and Bill will also visit with area high school football coaches.
