From the Tennessee Department of Transportation –

Beginning at 5 p.m., Saturday – August 15 – crews will begin pouring the westbound Interstate 40 section of the new bridge over North Highland Avenue.

At 5 p.m., crews will shut down the right lane of Interstate 40 – westbound – over the bridge to begin the pour.

At 8 p.m., North Highland Avenue will be closed from Vann Drive to Carriage House Drive to complete the pour.

The roads will reopen no later than 8 a.m., Sunday.
