2 convenience stores fined for illegal beer sales

Jackson Metro Narcotics issued citations to two convenience stores for selling beer illegally during an underage alcohol operation in June.

The stores are Little D’s, 2112 Highway 70 East, and Shell, 230 Oil Well Road.

The Jackson Beer Board issued a 30-day suspension and a $1,000 fine for both stores.

If the fine is paid within seven days, the suspension will be dropped.

Stores that did not sell to informants were –

Exxon, 1296 East Chester St.

Fuel City, 1321 East Chester St.

Circle Food Mart, 1625 East Chester St.

Neighbor Food Mart, 1430 East Chester St.

Mega Mart, 1400 Highway 70 East

Food Mart 24/7, 1215 Whitehall Street

Exxon, 2119 North Parkway

Speedway, 2018 Highway 70 East

Love’s, 2050 Highway 70 East

Mapco, 20 Johnson Creek Blvd.

Law Road Market, 151 Law Road

Phillips 66, 196 Law Road

Gold Line, 1819 U.S. Highway 45 Bypass
