The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for four more confirmed cases of COVID-19. We now have 242 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest confirmed cases include:
- 34-year-old female (not hospitalized)
- 37-year-old male (hospitalization unknown)
- 12-year-old male (hospitalization unknown)
- 52-year-old female (not hospitalized)
Our Epidemiology staff is still trying to reach several of these individuals, so hospitalization status is unknown at this time. We are also reaching out to people who had close contact with these cases.
Five Madison County residents are currently hospitalized, and one of those patients is on a ventilator.
Two hundred Madison County residents have recovered from COVID-19 and six people say they are feeling better.
