The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 14 more confirmed cases of COVID-19. We now have 236 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest confirmed cases include:
- 83-year-old female (not hospitalized)
- 32-year-old male (not hospitalized)
- 37-year-old female (hospitalization unknown)
- 40-year-old male (not hospitalized)
- 72-year-old female (not hospitalized)
- 19-year-old female (hospitalization unknown)
- 39-year-old female (not hospitalized)
- 69-year-old female (hospitalization unknown)
- 45-year-old male (not hospitalized)
- 29-year-old female (not hospitalized)
- 36-year-old female (not hospitalized)
- 48-year-old female (not hospitalized)
- 45-year-old male (not hospitalized)
- 31-year-old female (not hospitalized)
Our Epidemiology staff is still trying to reach some of these individuals, so hospitalization status is unknown at this time. Our staff is also reaching out to people who had close contact with these cases.
Four Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.
One hundred ninety-four Madison County residents have recovered from COVID-19 and eleven people say they are feeling better.
