The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for five more confirmed cases of COVID-19. We now have 190 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The most recent cases include:
- 92-year-old male (not hospitalized)
- 22-year-old male (hospitalization unknown)
- 34-year-old female (not hospitalized)
- 70-year-old female (hospitalization unknown)
- 70-year-old male (hospitalization unknown)
Our Epidemiology staff is still trying to reach several of these individuals, so hospitalization status is unknown at this time. We are also reaching out to people who had close contact with these cases.
One Madison County resident is currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
One hundred seventy-four Madison County residents have recovered from COVID-19 and three people say they are feeling better.
