From the Jackson-Madison County Health Department –
The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for one more confirmed case of COVID-19.
We now have a total of 145 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest case is a 66-year-old female, who is not hospitalized. Our epidemiology staff is reaching out to people who had contact with this person.
Seven Madison County residents are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Two of those
patients are currently on ventilators.
