From the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department –
The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for one more confirmed case of COVID-19.
We now have a total of 138 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest case is a 45-year-old man, who is not hospitalized.
Our epidemiology staff is reaching out to people who had contact with this patient.
Eight Madison County residents are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Four of those patients are currently on a ventilator.
