From the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department –

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for two more confirmed cases of COVID-19.

We now have a total of 95 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The most recent cases include:

21-year-old male (hospitalization unknown)
47-year-old male (not hospitalized)

Our epidemiology staff is still trying to reach one of these patients, so hospitalization status
is unknown at this time. We are also reaching out to people who had contact with these
patients.

Number of recoveries – 34.

AHC Forest Cove:

The health department confirms five people have tested positive for COVID-19 at American
Health Communities (AHC) Forest Cove in Madison County. Two residents and three
employees have tested positive. Both residents are currently hospitalized. Two employees
have already recovered. One employee is self-isolating at home. Our epidemiology staff and
Tennessee Department of Health have been in contact with the facility and these patients.
