The Howell Edmunds Jackson American Inn of Court is pleased to announce that it will donate the costs for its April and May membership dinners to Regional Interfaith Association (RIFA) and ComeUnity Café in order to support their missions of feeding those in need.

Because of COVID‐19 and social distancing requirements, the Inn cancelled its meetings for April and May.

Rather than refunding the cost of April and May’s dinners to the Inn’s membership, it was decided that the monthly meeting costs be donated to help those who need it most.

Both RIFA and ComeUnity Café help to fight hunger by feeding the most vulnerable members of our community.

The Inn is honored to play a small part in helping RIFA and ComeUnity Café provide food for those in need during this pandemic.

The Inn will donate a total of $3,000 to each organization over a two‐month period.

The Howell Edmunds Jackson Inn of Court is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is dedicated to inspiring the legal community to advance the rule of law by achieving the highest level of professionalism through example, education, and mentoring.

The Inn was founded on September 21, 2009 by seven lawyers and judges in Jackson.

Judge J. Daniel Breen, Chancellor James F. Butler, Charles H. Barnett, III, Russell E. Reviere, Charles M. Purcell, Jonathan O. Steen and Michael L. Russell believed that the goals and mission of the American Inns of Court movement would benefit the legal community in Jackson and in the surrounding counties in West Tennessee.

As a result of their vision and dedication, the Jackson Inn has been firmly established with 128 current members and actively promotes the mission of the American Inns of Court, to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills.
