JACKSON (May 26, 2015) – On Saturday an employee at Circle K on North Parkway contacted police after William Freiburger allegedly tried using multiple debit cards to buy cigarettes that weren’t in his name.
According to an affidavit, police made contact with William Freiburger in a car in the store parking lot and permission to perform a search from the car’s owner .
Officers found two debit cards belonging to two different people according to the affidavit.
Police contacted one of the debit card owners who told them he had lost the card and that Feiburger did not have permission to use it.
Freiburger is charged with illegal possession of a credit or debit card. He is being held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
