From the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department –
As of 4 p.m. today (Wednesday) we have 13 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest patient is a 38-year-old male, which was confirmed, today.
He was told to self-isolate at home.
Our epidemiology staff is reaching out to people who had contact with the patient.
We are still waiting on more test results from the drive-through COVID-19 assessment site at the Jackson Fairgrounds. As of today, we have received 21 negatives and 1 positive. We are still waiting on the results for 45 participants.
