From the Jackson Police Department –

Update: Jackson Police are now working a double homicide case stemming from the shooting that occurred on Breezewood near Old Hickory Boulevard. The victims in this incident have been identified as Kordell Bass (age twenty-two) and Kortez Waller (age twenty-one).

At approximately 8:55 p.m. on March 31st, Jackson Police Officers were dispatched to a shooting scene where two subjects were located suffering from gunshots. Both victims were transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital. Both victims have died as a result of the gunshot injuries.
