The 48th Running of the Andrew Jackson Marathon will be held September 12, 2020.
Originally scheduled for April 4, the state’s old marathon has been postponed until early fall due to COVID-19.
The 26.2 mile road race is the 35th oldest marathon in the United States and the 45th oldest marathon in the world.
A half-marathon (13.1 miles) accompanies the marathon, which starts and finishes in downtown Jackson at the West Tennessee Farmers’ Market.
