MADISON Co, (May 22, 2015) — We now know more information about a shots fired call in southeast Madison county.
On Tuesday night 911 received a call from neighbors in the area of Lohrig Rd who heard gun shots.
According to Tom Mapes, MCSD Public Information Officer, the call came in around 11:30 p.m. of shots fired at Volunteer Pallets at 33 Lohrig Rd.
Mapes said, the owner of the business had information that his store would be robbed. According to the investigation the business owner set up a surveillance.
Allegedly, the owner saw two men approach the office and he fired a “warning shot”. The accused fled and the owner pursued the men in his own private vehicle. Deputies responded the call and the chase which eventually ended in the fleeing vehicle crashing.
They have now charged Cody Mills, Stephanie Nickell, and Will Anderson are charged with Attempted Burglary. They are all being held in the Madison County Jail.
