Scott Conger, mayor of the City of Jackson, gave an update at City Hall, Thursday, on what the city is doing to help flatten the curve of COVID-19.
That includes additions to the State of Emergency declared earlier this week with new executive orders.
In the Declaration of State of Emergency, Conger ordered –

Capped at no more than 100 people.
3) Bar service at restaurants will be limited to 50 percent of capacity with no standing allowed.
4) All grocery stores/pharmacies will make arrangements for their first hour of business to be dedicated to those who are 62 years of age or older.
5) All bars and nightclubs will be closed.
6) All venues open to the public will operate at 50 percent of capacity, capped at no more than 100 people.
